Hollywood Studios 30th Snafu!

Sometimes the unexpected happens.  And then sometimes the thing you should have expected happens.

We unfortunately missed the fact that today was the 30th anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios (formerly Disney’s MGM Studios) when helping a client plan.  We had no problems getting FastPass+ for the day (even at 30 days out), but the family didn’t want to deal with the crowds that were certain to be there.

Just before 10 this morning we received a text message regarding the desire to switch parks (and therefore plans) to Epcot with a start no earlier than noon with Frozen Ever After and Spaceship Earth on the “must have” list.

In less than twenty minutes we had secured the following for our family of four:

  • Frozen Ever After at 12:10 (for 2) and at 12:30 (for 2)
  • Spaceship Earth at 1:30
  • Journey Into Imagination With Figment at 2:30

We always want our clients to experience as many attractions as possible, so we were ready for their fourth and fifth request (and then we gave them a sixth bonus).

  • The Seas With Nemo at 3:10
  • Living with the Land at 3:50
  • Soarin' Around the World at 5:00

As seen here, we booked six same day FastPass+ in a five hour block including two tier ones!  Even when things don’t go as planned, our concierge service can give you a fun filled, stress free day.
